Don Miguel Ruiz’s Four Agreements is a book of words that made him know all over the world. He is slowly influencing the collective conscious. Victim to Warrior to Master is his journey and he shows us that it is our path as well. He believes that life is a world of agreements and to find a balance of peace in life he has give us four agreements to help us find the truth of our being. The four agreements are:
Agreement #1
Be impeccable with your word – Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.
Agreement #2
Don’t take anything personally – Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.
Agreement #3
Don’t make assumptions – Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.
Agreement #4
Always do your best – Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret.
His son Don Miguel Ruiz Jr. in the movie Living Luminaries describes this life of being as a gardener. The garden grows anything. It can grow good and bad, positive and negative energy. If you want to live life within the balance of his four agreements you must garden with the discipline to remove the bad or negative energy from the garden like weeds before it has time to grow.
Here are some words of wisdom from Don Miguel Ruiz in the movie Living Luminaries.

I have many comments but I must start with 1 of the advices that you give on not to worry, it was giving by a teacher over 1900 years ago called Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, you know the one who died for your sins and all our sins on the cross so we could have eternal life. “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]?
28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:25-34. Plus what you said about what Jesus said on the cross”Then Jesus said, “Father forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” Luke 23:34. Because the lord on the cross knew what you were going to say this day by leading people astray he even forgave you, on Isaiah 42:9 he said “Everything I prophesied has come true, and now I will prophesy again. I will tell you the future before it happens”. So pay attention closely what I’m going to say, on the Cross Jesus prophesies that you were going to say the things that you said and he told you your future and he knew that you were going to hurt him with your false doctrine and he still forgave you. I’m writing to you out of love not anger because we are all going to live eternally somewhere and those places are Heaven with God or hell with satan. So please repent for your sins there is still time you got one more chance you might not get another next heart attack might be your last. Jesus is waiting for you and he has forgiving you, all you need to do is make it right with him, understand we live for him not for our own pleasures, I have had a full life of riches and pleasure and it always lead me to the same place, emptiness and that emptiness could only be filled by one thing and that is a relationship God. I will lead you to a prayer this is a prayer between you and him and if you pray this prayer first and then do his will next you my friend will be saved, I guarantee it!Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as Lord and Savior today and forever. In Jesus’ name. Amen. I hope that you prayed this prayer if there anything I could do for you I am here to serve. God bless you.
